A good photographer/videographer will take the time to sit down with you and listen to your needs as well as bringing their own suggestions and ideas. Your media specialist is a professional artist and each will have a different style, and a different way of working. Look at your prospective media specialist’s portfolio to see if their style resonates with you. Ask how and when they capture shots, both candid and posed. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t hire them and hope you can direct them to change their style or strategy to suit you. Keep looking until you find someone that really captures the “look” you want, and who can do so with the least impact on the smooth flow of events on your wedding day.
